Roland Ai Lo, AIA. is a principal and co-founder of Scale(s) Lab Architects. With more than 20 years of experience, he is involved with all phases of design development from conception to completion. He’s responsible for design direction and execution of the development team, including concept design, entitlements, site assessment, and construction. He has worked on a wide variety of commercial, mixed-use, retail, entertainment, hospitality, civic, multi-family housing, industrial, and master plan projects domestic and abroad. Prior to forming SLA, Roland served as Design Director at one of Southern California’s premier real estate development firm. Prior to that
, he served as Project Architect at Callison
Architecture (CallisonRTKL), Global Design Studio (GDS) and subsequently Design Manager for
one of Los Angeles metro most successful industrial/commercial developer
. Roland received his Bachelor of Architecture from
Woodbury University and Masters of Architecture from University of California,
Los Angeles. He’s a licensed Architect in California, Arizona, and Alabama, registered
with the National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB), a member
of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and the International Council of
Shopping Center.
